Chiefs to make it 4-0
Two of the NFL's in-form teams fight it out on Monday night when the Washington Redskins travel to the unbeaten Kansas City Chiefs.

Both sides have enjoyed great starts to the season and this clash is an eagerly-awaited encounter, as Washington go into the game sitting in second spot in the NFC East with a 2 and 1 record.

Their only defeat coming on the opening day of the season to divisional rivals the Philadelphia Eagles in DC and they come into this game on the back of an impressive win in last Monday night's game.

Their demolition of the previously heralded Oakland Raiders has made a lot of people sit up and take notice of Greg Manusky's underrated defense and has also introduced the dual-threat of Chris Thompson and Kirk Cousins, who is out to prove he is worth his franchise tag.

Thompson leads the team in both rushing and receiving yards, and QB Kirk Cousins was outstanding in the wins over Los Angeles Rams and Oakland.

The opposition on Monday though is one of this season's hottest properties as the Chiefs are unbeaten and a real force at the Arrowhead Stadium with a 3-0 record as they sit on top of the AFC West division.

Andy Reid's Chiefs are attempting to become the only team undefeated through four weeks of the season and they will need rookie running back Kareem Hunt, who has been the talk of the NFL with his astonishing 401 rushing yards leading the league, to continue his electric form.

Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith is also on fire and has thrown seven touchdowns with no interceptions, and leads the league with a 132.7 passer rating but the Chiefs will be hoping for a boost on the injury front as left tackle Eric Fisher has missed practice all week with a back injury and is a doubt.

The home side will also have a new kicker as Cairo Santos suffered an injury during the week and was ruled out, so rookie Harrison Butker was signed from Carolina Panthers' practice squad and added to the home side.

It could be a real crackerjack of a match but the Chiefs are tipped to keep their great run going, just.
