Draw likely in Manchester derby
Manchester United travel to the Etihad on Thursday and another Jose Mourinho masterclass should secure a draw with Manchester City.
A Manchester derby is always a feisty, tense affair but, with so much riding on the outcome of this week's encounter, it has all the makings of a classic.

City currently occupy the final Champions League berth but the Red Devils are just one point and one place behind and, with Liverpool nestled in behind Chelsea and Tottenham, it seems as though three clubs are fighting for two spots.

With that in mind, Mourinho will not want to give anything away and would be happy to leave his rivals' ground with a share of the spoils.

The Portuguese tactician recently put together a plan to thwart Chelsea and United emerged as 2-0 winners over the league leaders at Old Trafford to keep up the pressure on the top four.

There is every reason to suggest he will look for his men to soak up as much pressure as possible and hit City on the break, with the pace of Marcus Rashford one of his main weapons.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic's season is over and so the boss has no decision to make on who to start up front and, with the way he has performed of late, England's Rashford will not be fazed by the pressure-cooker atmosphere that awaits.

Whether the visitors have what it takes to unlock a City defence that should have Vincent Kompany at its heart is open to debate, and it may well be worth siding with the draw at n/a.

A home win is priced at n/a while United are on offer at n/a to take all three points and go above their city rivals in the standings.

There is also a personal rivalry between the coaches, with Mourinho and Pep Guardiola enjoying a frosty relationship over the years.

There is mutual respect, with warm embraces when the pair have met during the campaign, but a local derby can do strange things to both players and those in the dug-out and it would be no surprise to see some shenanigans on the touchline.

David Silva is a doubt for City after limping off during the FA Cup semi-final defeat to Arsenal but Sergio Aguero, who also picked up a knock in that game, is fit to play.

United seem unbeatable in the league and it will take something special from City's strike force to end their incredible run.
