Golden State can handle Miami Heat
Miami Heat face a tough trip to Golden State Warriors in the NBA and it would be wise to side with a home victory.

GSW are the current champions and not too many people are giving the Heat a chance in Tuesday's showdown at the Oracle Arena.

The Warriors made a poor start to the season, losing three of their opening five games, but they have improved in recent weeks and are preparing to host Miami on the back of three successive away wins.

They have seen off LA Clippers (141-113), San Antonio Spurs (112-92) and Denver Nuggets (127-108), and the Heat, who are big outsiders at n/a, do not appear to have enough in their tank to cause them too many problems in Oakland.

The Warriors, a short price of n/a to record another win, are yet to truly hit the highs of last season, though, and Miami will still hope to take advantage should GSW let their standards slip, like they did when they went down 115-107 against the Detroit Pistons in their last home game.

To give the visitors a glimmer of hope, they did win their last away game - against the Clippers to end a five-game losing streak - and have a reputation for raising their game against the better sides, a fact reinforced by successes at Washington and Cleveland at the back end of last season.

The Heat's recent record at Golden State is not good, having lost on their last three trips there, and an away win in this would be a big shock.

Miami will have to keep Kevin Durant quiet after his impressive display last time out at Denver when he amassed 25 points - and it looks just too tough a task for the Eastern Conference outfit.
